Great, great, great! Like a garden in bloom, very aromatic with just a touch of pastry dough. Disgorged in March of 15, would love to see how this ages. — 7 years ago
Smokey, flinty, fruity. Rich and heavy, like wet wool. I imagine this is what a civil war battlefield smelled like when the ground was still wet with dew. Wet uniforms, gunpowder, dropped fruit left out to rot. — 6 years ago
And the worst wine of the year award goes to...well, it’s only January 5th so there’s time for things to get worse. The nose is okay, but on the palate things just fall apart for me. Rubber tire, acrid smoke and burnt herbs. The texture is all wrong. You win some, you lose some, I guess. 🤷🏻♂️ — 7 years ago
Thin, almost too much so, yet still so very aromatic. Cherry and raspberry when young. I’ll be interested to see how this changes with time. A touch heady, mild brett, just the slightest hint of funk and personality. — 7 years ago

I’m not sure what I was expecting, but this want it. And I mean that in a good way. I decanted it for 3 hours before finally began to unfurl itself. Briney minerality, pineapple, bruised pear. Piercing acidity. Very interesting and I’m curious to see how this will change over the years. Texturally very interesting. — 5 years ago
