Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Fruity nose of red berries, cedar and chocolate notes.

Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, blueberries, oak, licorice, cola, coffee, peppercorn, light earth and herbs.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour of airtime.

This Single Vineyard Zinfandel is elegant and not 'in your face' kind of wine, which is nice to see out of Napa. Tasty and easy drinking.

Good by itself as a sipping wine and would pair nicely with a burger.

100% Zinfandel grapes were aged for 14 months in American and Hungarian oak barrels. Only 25 barrels produced.

Medium deep ruby , quite narrow rim . Touch of earthy menthol , tobacco , spicy blackcurrant, grafite . On the palate quite dusty , with earthy sous bois , blackcurrant, ripe blackberry , grafite and tobacco , cocoa hints. Quite rich but balanced , good acidity, quite dusty tannins . This is probably at peak now though will last well another decade perhaps . — 21 days ago

2004 Silver reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. I had this in my wine cellar. The upper part of cork disintegrated. The cork had 1/4” that was intact. Absolutely delicious. I am so glad it wasn’t ruined. Full body California Cabernet. It still had texture. It still has tannins. I bet this could go another 5 years. — 3 months ago
