Best grocery store wine I’ve had since moving here. Maybe it’s this vintage, but it was super well balanced. A really nice blend of Garnatxa, Syrah, Cab, Merlot, & Carinyena. — 3 months ago
The Beaujolais of Catalonia. Very light at 11.5%. A bit more tannic, though. — 4 months ago
What an amazing blend! Imagine your typical Gewürztraminer made subtle by its mixture with traditional Catalan varietals. I’ve found that certain meals—carbonara, some east Asian dishes, and blended soups—need a white wine in a tall, skinny bottle that doesn’t suck. This is it. — 9 months ago
Our family are big fans of Cayuse En Cerise. Unfortunately, the 2016 vintage was heavily affected by smoke taint. No syrah character under the smoke and ash. — 20 days ago
Excellent blend of Garnatxa, Syrah, and a couple of others I didn’t catch. Well balanced if a bit tannic and prune-ish. The ‘21 vintage is at its peak now. — 3 months ago
Brings to mind Thompson Seedless raisins. Like a port in table wine form. If you’re at a Bonpreu, this may be your safest bet amongst the reds. — 4 months ago
Fresh raspberries made delicate after nine years in the bottle. A crowd pleaser at the Christmas table. — 20 days ago
Bracing acidity and cherry notes that evolve subtly in the glass. Wish I had tried some when it was younger. Eight years in the bottle might be a tad much considering that it is not an especially tannic wine. — 21 days ago
Slightly medicinal. A little bit harsh and bitter. Still drinkable, though. — 4 months ago

Black cherries and leather. A bit on the big side when it was young. Marvelous after a decade in the cellar. — 11 days ago
