This was a journey. Started off thin and watery. Took 45 minutes and then became very aromatic in a tertiary way. The nose was gorgeous for a while and palate got opulent but remained lithe. Then it finished off thin and watery but there was a good window. The score is for when it was drinkable. It was for maybe 40 minutes. Very cool to taste. Really nice balance. Some funk, some minerality, a nose of thyme and cranberries. Easy to drink. — 2 months ago
The 2021 Arbois Patchwork Chardonnay opens up with lively aromas of green apple and pear, lemon flesh and discrete hints of cedar. On the palate it is round, refined and balanced by firm acidity, leaving traces of wet stones and a sapid finish. Vinified from hand harvested fruit, matured unoxidatively for one year, bottled unfiltered and without any added SO2, this is a bright little Jura Chardonnay. — 6 months ago

YES please! Got the zest of French top shelf whites but lacks the unnecessary “because-we-can” premium you’d have to pay for a Burgundy counterpart. 3/11-2023 — a month ago
