Lytton Springs Petite Sirah Blend 2019

Classic Ridge. Drinking nicely after decant and time in the glass. Zinfandel and Petite Syrah blend. Will wait a couple more years before opening the next one. This wine shows bright red fruit, medium body, and is nicely balanced. i see this one getting better with more bottle age. Excellent QPR. Paired perfectly with homemade wagyu burgers. — 4 days ago

Cider Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Just gets better with time. Upon release I always finds these wines big and just-conjoined but after a few years they evolve so amazingly. Muted fruit so well integrated, light tannin and medium long finish — a month ago

East Bench Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel 2018

Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and tangy spices. On the palate flavors of blackberry and raspberry with black pepper, tar, spice and a touch of earthy herbs. Fine rustic tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, earthy spice and some oak. Nice! — 24 days ago

Berries galore. Really need time for this one to open. Not something to rush — 13 days ago

Mancini Ranch Carignane Zinfandel 2019

Absolutely delicious. The 27% Zin makes itself noticed on the nose, which has the telltale brambly blackberry competing with the deep red berries of the Carignane. And there’s a bit of the signature Ridge American oak adding a vanilla/smoky note on top of a little gravel. Texturally soft and mouthfilling, it’s ripe but in beautiful balance. Tangy acids from the Carignane. A bit of tannin, but it’s very soft. I don’t see this as a long ager, but really nice now. The finish is a little short, but that’s common in my view with Carignane, which tend to give a significant initial whack of flavor and then dissipates quickly. — 20 days ago

East Side RIdge Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon

On the nose very fruity, the taste on the front and finish is black cherry. Deep red. Very good easy to drink. 11$ a glass 44$ a bottle. Very good and easy and smooth to drink — a day ago

Occidental Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir 2018

[Sorry couldn't find an entry, logging here Failla 2018 Pearl essence] Single clone - Martini. One taste it surely reminds me of a bottle of Burn Cottage I had a while ago - the same acid lift and acid structure, tomato leaf, sour cranberry, citrusy and bright, red flowers and white + black peppers. 400-500 feet inland, super cool microclimate. Ah it turns out both connected to ted lemon! — 6 days ago

Gorgeous Destiny Ridge Vineyard Syrah 2016

I love Jeff’s wine but this wine has never been my favorite of his. However, this is tasting so good right now! Really glad I hoarded this for so long. — 8 days ago

Hiyu Smockshop Band

Tzum Oak Ridge Columbia GorgeRed Blend 2020

High elevation pinot noir. Blackberries, wild strawberries, boysenberry, almost like smelling a berry soda without sweetness, there’s also bramble, flower perfume, leather on the nose. It’s crazy to smell. Palate is berries, more acidity, more leather and game, but a lot of berries and greenery. Definite alpine style. Really enjoyable. — a day ago
