Jake Putnam and I crushing this bottle. Unreal! — 2 days ago
Blend of Native Sicilian Inzolia and Sauvignon Tasca grapes. Deep Golden color. Lemon and Stoney mineral aromas. Flavors of lemon zest, almonds and beeswax. Wine has some heft and texture. Brimming with acidity. — 2 days ago
First bottle of our fall 2020 shipment. Balanced and bright. Fresh tropical fruit, citrus, and some flora notes on the nose. Melon, lemon citrus, and tropical fruit on the palate. Clean mineral undertones. Zippy acidity. Fun wine to drink, goes great with Thai food. — 11 days ago

Winemaker's Notes:"This unusual white Pinot Noir "Blanc de Noir" 2019 is 100% Pinot Noir from the famed “Grand Cru” level Sanford and Benedict Vineyard. The free run juice was separated off the sorting table and native-fermented separately in stainless barrels. Usually bottled as a Rosé, but due to ideal circumstances with the fruit arriving at the winery unusually cold due to very cool nights during the pick - no color was absorbed during that short time in the picking bins. Resulting in a beautifully complex white wine from Pinot Noir. Only 40 cases made." — 14 hours ago
A Santa Barbara County Proprietary Red Wine. Unfiltered and unfined. Entirely constructed of Estrella-clone Syrah from two ends of the Santa Rita Hills and a sprinkling of Viognier. Native-yeast fermented with 40% whole cluster inclusion and raised in large neutral barrels for 26-months. Matthias’ expression of great Syrah from a great Syrah growing region, cool coastal vineyards north of Santa Barbara. Recommended to a little above cellar temperature.
Young boysenberries. Steeping Darjeeling tea. A hint of barbecue smoke drifts by.
The color of a deep burgundy Chrysler Cordoba. Big, velvety mouthfeel, but not Corinthian leather.
Taste: Black cherries, just before 100% ripe. A touch of blueberry pie, but savory, not sweet. Finish: A finish of black pepper with a touch of cocoa nib at the last few touches of finish. Juicy, bustling tannins right to the point where you think they’re a touch too bold, but then the finish reaches over and says “I believe you were mistaken”.

Brilliant California Rose’ made with native Portuguese varietals. (Blend of Touriga National (80%) and Tinta Cao (20%). Aromas and flavors of Watermelon (like Jolly Ranchers without the sweetness), lemon rind and rose petals. Touches of dark raspberries and a Real purity of fruit. Hint of vanilla and saline with a bit of a creamy finish. Wonderful consistency all through the pallet. Beautiful balance. Clean with just the right level of bright acidity. Winner! — 16 hours ago
@delectable this is the XVI. Declassified Boca Rosso from Piedmont. 55% Nebbiolo/30% Croatina/10% Vespolina/5% Uva Rara. 400m sites in the middle of the woods on porphyry-rich volcanic soils. Ivano works the vines organically and by hand, including manual harvest. The fruit is destemmed and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tank with a two-week maceration. The wine is aged in a single 1700-liter Austrian oak cask for one year and then for another year in bottle before release. — 18 days ago
