William Harrison Vineyards and Winery, StHelena, cabernet sauvignon 2018. Bill Harrison has done a fantastic job with these grapes. The bouquet is driving home a black licorice and smoke! This is probably due to the Tufa soil in Saint Helena. Very nice bouquet. The palate is immediately flooded with big dark red and black fruit such as blackberry, fig, and black plum. Following the fruit, there are hints of oak and graphite. Then comes the spicy dark chocolate finish. However, there is just a hint of sharp aftertaste on the finish. However, it dissipates relatively quick. And best of all, the finish is also very dry!! I highly recommend this cab. — 20 hours ago

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black currants, cooked plums, cherries, cedar, vanilla, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, light earth and peppercorn.
Medium on the finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, is easy drinking and good right out of the bottle. Much better after a couple of hours in the decanter, though.
Smooth and elegant with a nice mouthfeel. A very nice sipping wine.
Robert Parker 94 points.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 8 years.
Good by itself or with food, like BBQ Meats. I paired it with a charcuterie board.
Aged in French oak barrels (40% new).
14.5% alcohol by volume.

This 3 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is starting to drink nicely, although still young.
Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Big, rich, fruit forward and spicy.
Needed a couple of hours in the decanter to open up. Will be better in 3 years, and will age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.
Good by itself or with food, and will pair very nicely with a nice piece of steak.

What a pretty wine. A rather interesting multi vintage red blend from Napa Valley but made more in the old school style. Ruby red core with violet edges. A bright, floral nose begins to unfurl with summer flowers and fresh blackberries. There’s a nice element of cocoa and vanilla as well, along with dried herbs. As it warms in the glass, spice begins to assume a starring role.
Mostly Cabernet Franc to go with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This isn’t a typical ultra ripe, big and bold Napa red blend designed to appease the masses. Though it may do just that because it is so very inviting and pleasing. Smooth tannins and easy going although this is serious stuff. The palate follows the nose closely with lovely red fruit and lively dark fruit. A bit of greenery and a bit more spice. Fun, fun stuff and highly recommended.

Blend of 87% Cab Sauv, 8% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec and 2% Cab Franc sourced from estate-owned vineyards, aged 24 months in 100% new French oak. Deep Ruby, dark fruits, spice, complex nose. On the palate flavors of rich berry fruits, spice and vanilla oak, well structured harmonious wine. Fine soft rich tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and sweet earthy tones. Tasting great, young and juicy, should easily last another couple of decades+ in the bottle. Wow! — 17 hours ago
A producer I’ve always wanted to try. And this is certainly atypical. I mean where can you find a chard with 12.2% abv nowadays.
Expressive nose of peach, lemony citrus, subtle pineapple, and hint of elderflower. The palate is surprisingly round and textured, balanced by fresh medium acidity. Almost oily but remains nimble. The finish is crisp and lightly saline. — 3 days ago
