Very nice Brunello. Integrates well, smooth and complex. — 5 years ago
Nice, easy drinking. Lovely by itself, but food friendly. Great value. — 8 days ago
The 2019 Siepi continues a trend towards greater finesse and nuance in this wine. Crème de cassis, lavender, spice, licorice and plum meld together effortlessly in the glass. Dense and layered, with striking detail, the 2019 is so impressive. The flavors are bright, bold and punchy. An exceptionally beautiful and riveting wine, the 2019 is rich and concentrated, but not at all heavy. What a total knock-out. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2021)

De très haute qualité, ce vin est riche en saveur et en découverte. Une robe jaune avec un nez plein d’arômes. On sent très bien le fruit sec, l’amande et des notes d’épices. En bouche, une fraîcheur et longueur. Délicieux !

The 2018 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano lifts up perfumed with roses, violets, sage and tea leaves in an exotic and fresh display. Its textures are silky-smooth yet lifted and juicy, staining the palate with purple-tinged florals and blueberries. There is tannin here, yet they are sweet and round, hardly getting in the way of the 2018’s jovial feel. This may not be the longest-lived Vino Nobile, but it sure will win a lot of hearts over the medium term. (Eric Guido, Vinous, December 2021)

An interesting and fruity #Syrah. Enjoyed this bottle on an unexpectedly stormy day on the Cape, so it was fitting given the weather. Here, the bottle is pictured posing with a garish sculpture found in our Airbnb. Needless to say, we preferred the bottle to the sculpture. 🗿 — 4 years ago

This Italian white has a most interesting presence in the glass. The pale yellow liquid has a nose which is quite herbaceous, showing notes of sage, anise and oregano. The palate brings forth some citrus fruit - Meyer lemon - and a boatload of minerals and salinity. There is quite a racy acidity, too. Like a good Vermentino should, the wine leaves a sense of the seashore on the finish. — 13 days ago
