Just take a look at this color. So striking. So sexy. Nice perlage and cream. The nose is so crisp and fresh. Pears and lively red cherries alongside mangoes. Freshly baked bread aromas are very nice here, as well are the grapefruit and strawberry.

A friend and neighbor of Cédric Bouchard and that’s all you need to know. 50/25/25 PN/CH/Pinot Blanc with an extra brut dosage of 3 g/l. The low dosage avoids the trap of being austere, but rather it’s an inviting and gracious Rosé. The addition of 10% Coteaux Champenois Pinot Noir gives it that beautifully sexy color and viscosity.
Dry with breathtaking acidity, the terroir really speaks here. The palate follows the nose with more summer berries and light yeast. So lovely, so sleek. Good sex in a bottle. If you see these, get them. — 7 days ago
Long day. Needed greatness and I got it. Hugely expansive and mineral nose with unreal complexity. Beautiful dash of oak complexity. Sweetest most delicate wood. Airy, ethereal minerals. Palate is super elegant, complex and so delicate with wonderful purity and lift. What a finish. So elegant. Beautiful green apple and sweet lime. Loads of rocks on the finish. Crunchy. What a finish. Serious reduction that after an initial 3 hour decant and then a necessary additional hour 😅, finally blows off and gives way to layers of ripe orchard fruit, dry yellow extract, lemon oil and lilies, finishing with a cool mineral streak. It’s drinking quite youthful and primary still, but it’s in a good place nonetheless showing a nice balance of richness, vibrant acidity, tension and freshness. 2012 could sleep a bit more or use a 3 hour decant at minimum. This is phenomenal. So so concentrated. Deep fragrances of tart black plums, wild bramble and blackberries mingle with musky, ferrous, dripping scents of blood and perfume. The palate is a masterful- dripping with dark red fruit, sexy, savory, salty, primeval, but way too balanced to call rustic. Love this cuvee. Maybe even better than the ‘15. — an hour ago
