Vite Talin Barolo Nebbiolo 2015

Ok, again the soft but very rich tannins, ik like the silky ness of this great wine. It’s more open for me then La Vigne and Aleste and it’s a meaty, powerful wine!! For me it’s a great wine but out of my Leaque price wise. So after this great tasting for me it’s simple, the 2017 Barolo’s are great and more affordable for the most of us. The Vite Talin is a guilty pleasure!! — 3 months ago

Valmaggiore Nebbiolo d'Alba 2017

Tastes better than many Barolo’s. The aromatic range is bit narrow with emphasis on warm, dark tonality and doesn’t seem like it is holding back much. Definitely a modern wine with polished fruit but better than many traditional Barolo’s that are just not well-made. — a month ago

Aleste Barolo Nebbiolo

At this moment a little more closed then La Vigne, it’s floral in the nose with some spice. It’s drinking as smooth as La Vigne and I felt the same tannine structure. Some smoke and herbs after another snif. — 3 months ago

Dolcetto d'Alba 2019

One of my favourite Dolcettos. It's bit more uptoned and acidic when compared to 2018 or 2017 but has all the typical dark fruits, spices and licorice just as supposed. This lasted untill 3rd day when it had gained weight significantly. Great food friendly dolcetto that needs bit more bottle age to shine — 5 months ago

Le Vigne Barolo Nebbiolo 2016

Yesterday late afternoon I had the pleasure of tasting the 2016 Luciano Sandrone Le Vigne Barolo. At first taste I knew this was a special bottle of wine. All boxes were checked on the nose as well as the palate.

On the nose were fully expressive notes of black cherry, strawberry, herbs, clove, clay pottery, rose petals, underbrush, tar and dusty soil.

On the palate were delightful notes of dark cherries, strawberry, red plum, licorice, truffle, herbs, dried roses, a good mineral note and dusty earth.

An outstanding wine from the word go, full bodied, well balanced with a smooth round mouthfeel, medium + acidity and medium + to high fine mouth coating grippy tannins that leaves you with a long pronounced fresh fruit dusty earth finish. This wine still has a lot to offer years from now. What a pleasure to have experienced this. I hope everyone's weekend is going well? Have a continued wonderful weekend. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷
