Fruit forward. Luscious — a month ago
One of the best champs I’ve ever had. Enjoyed at AOC.
Côte de Bachelin [La Parcelle] - 100% Pinot Noir from the 1.5 hectare lieu-dit of Côte de Bachelin. Spends a full three years on the lees, and thus, is always bottled as a vintage cuvée. 150 cases produced annually. — 16 days ago
Deep ruby colour. Superb nose, both natural (varietal notes) and classic (breeding). The nose is really sexy! Semi-bodied gourmet mouth, giving pride of place to a high-flying vinification on modernity with the fruit ahead. This suggests their best on the most prestigious cuvées in the estate. A very beautiful expression of the Cabernet franc de Loire.
Robe rubis profonde. — 19 days ago

Popped and poured; no formal notes. Consumed over two days with consistent performance both nights. “Les Fôrets” is a lieu dit inside of Montmains. Romain ferments in a combination of 90% cement egg and 10% foudre. This is my kind of 1er Cru Chablis. There is an abundance of energy. Bright, crisp tropical fruits that lean more towards the star fruit side of things. There is lemon citrus and loads of minerals. The oak treatment is extremely light and imparts more to the texture than anything else. The finish is long, refreshing and super satisfying. Really lovely stuff. — 14 days ago

Very light cantelope color. Unripe cantelope, wild strawberry, herbal and minerality. Austere (in a good way), crisp, and clean. — 9 days ago
