Lucious, inky red wine from Sardinia. The grape is the Sardinian Grenache grape known as Cannonau. Unique grape with a very rich berry flavor, pleasant nose and a lingering taste of spice such as cinnamon. Paired wonderfully with lasagna. Did not pair as well with poultry. Should do well with red meat. Drank in November 2023 — a month ago
Garnet , ruby core , with terracotta rim . Quite ripe juicy nose , blueberry , blackberry , with an earthy , cedar tinged note and touch of mint . On the palate more reserved , with dark cassis , blackberry , scorched earth , tobacco , cedar . Good refreshing acidity , slightly drying tannin. Quite good length, after a while a mineral , crushed rock note . This is at peak now in magnum, for now and the next 5-8 years . Bottles drink now and over the next few years I would imagine — 9 days ago
I really liked this wine. It wasn’t as great as some other Montepulciano but I still liked it. I drank it with a French dip sandwich that I made along with Johnny’s Au Jus and I thought it paired well. I will buy it again! — 10 days ago
Def a respect. Delicious warm doesn’t need to be cold. No strong taste, light red wine — 7 days ago

Staying on the Nebbiolo trail
Vibrant, energetic, fresh & juicy. Full of sweet cherry & raspberry, with a flower whiff and a stony-tarry undertone. So enticing!
Medium bodied, with juicy cherry acidity and amazing tannins - silky, finely grained, offering ajuicy, yet firm bite. Perfectly ripe.
Nice depth & purity and great cherry & cherry flower note.
This an ode to youth! Keep your Barbaresco Rosetta’s till they aged with truffle & balsamico while you devour the young, crunchy, joyful „simple” Nebbiolos.
