Meadowcroft Wines Nelson Ranch Pinot Gris 2021, Mendocino County, California
Pale lemon in color.
Very aromatic nose of flowers, citrus, lemons, green apples, sweet grapefruits, herbs and spices.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, green apples, bitter herbs, light vegetables, earth and spices.
Tangy finish with spices and almonds.
This is a very tasty Pinot Gris from Mendocino County. Nicely balanced, spicy and tangy.
This Single Vineyard Pinot Gris is showing a really pretty nose.
Feels more like a Californian Sauvignon Blanc.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A small production of only 2,200 bottles.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

One of many neighbor offloads. Label says would mature up to 20 years, should have waited; didn't know if properly cellared previously. Mount Saint Helena terroir. Paired with TJ cocoa truffs β a day ago

Deep ruby color. Aromas of dark currant, black licorice, dark chocolate covered cherries and baking spices (nutmeg and clove). Fantastic flavors of black fruit, spices, clove, vanilla and oak on the finish. β 2 days ago
