Some serious bang for the buck. Big and rich, dark fruit, espresso, and plenty of oak. Certainly one that haters will have a field day with, but there's no question this is a crowdpleaser.

We have been drinking this wine for 10 years now. As the fruit drops out it becomes more stringent with strong oak tannins, losing some of its depth and ease of drinking.

Jan 5th, 2026Dense, concentrated chocolate, dark fruit with a jammy edge. Full bodied, sweetened with ripe vanilla oak and fine grained but potent tannins giving it a lingering finish. Perhaps a bit passed its peak but still extremely good.

Apr 23rd, 2022At first it drank more like a dry Napa Valley Merlot than a Cab. Dark fruit of blue berry with an edge of dried fig. Interestingly over time the tannins started to evolve and became more pronounced giving it a deeper layer of complexity and a grippy finish.

Held up nicely to a rich meal of homemade crab bisque and filet with bearnaise sauce. Cherry, vanilla, oak and leather. Better when it opens up for about 30 minutes.
