Wonderful, not very deep but elegant and complex. Need some time after opening the bottle. I had the young 2019 in 2022 — 4 days ago
Nose has blackberry jam, moist leather, fig paste, charred wood, chopped dark chocolate and faint vanilla.
Palate has dried blueberry, blackberry, dried black currant, muddy garden soil, faint dried strawberry with mild tannins and medium acidity.
Solid pairing to a baked 'Mac & Cheese' dish fancied up with a béchamel sauce, Gorgonzola & Fontina cheeses, breadcrumbs and Casarecce Corte pasta. (Interpretation of a recipe courtesy of Joanne Weir) — 18 days ago
It's basic, a plum and chocolate, high acidity - which is great with spaghetti with prawns. :) — 11 days ago
44% rabigato, 29% viosinho, 24% gouveio, 1% Fernão Pires — 9 days ago
I was at the vineyard in 2019, so when I saw this I had to grab it.
Vibrant (can’t find another good descriptor) purple in colour.
Needs a bit of time to open up, but when it does… Forrest fruit. Oak. Smoke. Tobacco. Complex yet still delicate. Finish lingers.
Such a solid wine… and it’s organic! — 7 days ago
Deep purple. Deeeeeeeep.
Dark fruit. Oak. Subtle smokiness.
Well balanced. — 8 days ago

2nd time around & Im still impressed. Fascinating to taste the evolution in the glass. Goes from a more Jura- almost oxidized state to Chablis like precision. So far one of my fave Portuguese producers — 17 days ago
