2023 summer. Still lots of dark berry fruit and powdery density - it would be even better bwith 10 more years, but tasty and engaging now — 16 days ago
For our last week in NY before moving back to Paris, we decided to taste some favorites. This one was royal, stunning, and starting to open up. Probably great in 3 to 5 years, but accessible and excellent as we speak. — a month ago
This is high up on the totem pole, and it shows on all senses. The nose is complicated and dense, which then leads into a rich variety of notes such as tobacco, cedar, coffee and cherries. While it seems to have already evolved into its drinking window, powerful tannins and good acidity provide the hallmarks of a wine that will hold its own for a long time. — 7 days ago

2019 vintage. Interesting wine. Medium-heavy body. Decanted and tasted after 45 mins-2.5 hrs. Seemingly unfined/unfiltered as it was throwing a little chunky and powdery sed. Ended up tasting more like an experiment in combining California AVA's together on the fly/in the same glass. Big ripeness, mixed with a Cran-Grape component with a generous amount of additional acidity thrown in. Was better earlier on and got weirder the longer it was open. Obviously suffering through the indiscretions of youth but give this one some time and patience. Needs a lot of latitude. 9.23.23. — 7 days ago
