Placed 2nd in small scale Pessac-Léognan tasting behind the 2010. This had a caramel nose, like caramel corn. Amazing. — 2 days ago
A full body, heavy blanc Hermitage, 66% Marsanne and 34% Roussanne. Yellow hay color, brilliant. Noticed nose of pear, strudel apple, even guave.
Thick palate, meaty in structure (for wine), very balanced. Missing the final kick of the minerality. Great experience. — a month ago

A touch of honey. Some oyster shells, cool stone. Some of the syrupy tang of 2010. Great balance and long. — 2 days ago
