Chestnut Oak Vineyard

Oak Grove

Family Reserve Shiraz 2018

Color of burgundy with hue of bloody grapefruit, quite clear and lighter compared to traditional Shiraz. Nose of coffee, aldehyde, cherry, a bit raspberry, cigar box, and ripe grapes. Taste of ample acidity plus sweetness form strawberry, a bit zesty, a bit salty indeed, medicinal syrup, and some more grapes. Aftertaste shows more zest, oak, and peppery note. Light, sweet, yet with good flavors. Interesting different kinds of Shiraz. — 5 days ago

Cline Cellars

Single Vineyard Series Live Oak Vineyard Zinfandel 2018

Almost semi sweet bouquet of plums. Big bold jammy upfront in your face and on your tongue. Softens after swirling and allowing it to breathe. Then you can taste the plums and tannins on the back. — 8 hours ago

Trefethen Family Vineyards

Oak Knoll District Merlot 2017

Archetypal Napa - lush plum and berry fruit with a strong backbone of vanilla and chocolate. Easy drinking; would be a crowd pleaser. — 7 days ago

Oak Grove Vineyard Dry Muscat Ottonel 2017

Interesting Oregon White! Orange blossom galore on the nose. White peach fruit flavor with hints of lychee, green apple and citrus peel. Bone dry. (Not your typical Muscat) 11% Alcohol. Short finish but very refreshing . — 4 days ago

Variations American Oak North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

This kosher Cabernet Sauvignon hails from Paso Robles. It is made from organically grown grapes which were late-harvested and no sulfites were added. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry and boysenberry lead the way, with a light touch of oak and a dollop of that Paso earthiness. The palate is chalky and fruity, the tannins are toothy and the acidity is racy. Allow plenty of time for this wine to open up before pouring it - you’ll be glad you did. — 8 days ago

Oak Ridge Winery

Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Color of light purple and ruby, quite clear. Nose of cigar, cherry and strawberry jam, spice, vanilla, some aldehyde, and hint of acidity. Taste of oak, subtle jammy sweetness, some mineral and zest, some medicinal syrup, good background tannins, and tobacco leaves. Aftertaste of some more sweetness and medicinal syrup, with addition of warmth in the throat. Not bad, yet too sweet for me. — 15 days ago
