Medium body, soft tannins, lots of fruit. Ungrafted vines sets this apart from other Barolos — 5 years ago
Fairly transparent for Barbera and light in alcohol at 13.5%. Lovely bright nose, ripe of red cherry with a floral twist. On the palate it tastes quite evolved with a secondary profile that is very appealing. Could almost pass for a barolo. Probably best Barbera I’ve tried and better than the Burlotto Aves and Vietti Scarrone tried alongside. — 3 years ago
A bit of aged balsamic notes. Middle of the pack in the ‘67 lineup — 6 years ago
2006 vintage. Medium ruby hue. Nose is off the charts - slight metallic, dark plum, roses and violets, sultana, coffee lift, licorice. With air, fennel and tangerine. On the palate, wow. Huge acidity, medium body, high tannin - softened with time in glass. Medium plus alcohol. Great length and complexity. Drink now until 2027. — 7 years ago
In perfect shape - cork intact, good color. Amazing bottle. This is the 1947. — 4 years ago

Haven’t really rated a wine this highly before. It’s extraordinary and the difference between it and other barolos is striking. Just wow. — 5 months ago
