For me (though perhaps not for others) this is at its apogee. Rich nose has petrol and deep, bitter honey, dried apples and apricot. Some botrytis for sure. Dry, rich, and, to my taste, very slightly oxidative, nice acids and a long, earthy finish that shows honeyed fruit, liquid minerals, and even a bit of mushroom. — 2 years ago

This is your #riesling if you’re not a fan of the petrol / diesel notes, once this has had a chance to breathe a bit. While I don’t mind those, this is a nice alternative terroir expression - subtle floral and peach notes on nose. @Kurt Schuster is spot on with the crystalline descriptor. The palate is more about the luscious fruit texture backed by sturdy acidity and a touch of RS rather than a lot of complexity. Where else can you get #grandcru #alsaceriesling other than #costco for ~$18? — 8 months ago

Last bottle of this. Still drinking beautifully. Nose has lychee, pear syrup, wet river stones, and lilies. In the mouth it’s round and broad, and also slightly sweet, but it’s all in balance due to nice minerality and a little bitter note. Love the balance on this. — a year ago

Not something I would usually go far, but I really loved this. It is lightly sweet with notes of rose, strawberry, persimmon, and crushed grass. Really tasty with a roast chicken dinner. — 4 years ago
