Very good. Hard to describe . Bought near ups store — 2 months ago
Deep purple; prunes, black cherries, and licorice on the nose; medium acidity; bold, but smooth tannins; tastes like red plum, sweet tabacco, blueberries, and maybe vanilla with a long peppery finish. After a long decant this wine developed a chocolate aroma on the nose, the acidity toned down, and the plums taste more like prunes. I think it's even better after the decant. It was fun to experience this wine's development. — 5 months ago
Medium garnet , quite wide garnet rim . Quite floral at first with violet and iris, then touches of sweet red fruits , fresh herbal touches as well. On the palate more sweet red fruits, red plum , black cherry , with those fresh cut herbal and floral touches, violet in particular. Quite distinctive earthy notes also . Good refreshing acidity and slightly gritty tannins that are drier than expected with touch of bitterness , which distracts slightly from the harmony in the rest of the wine. This is probably in the middle of its drinking window and will hold over the next 6-9 years . — 2 months ago

Really nice Pinot with lots of flavor, nice bite, good balance. Full and long. Tasted 6 December 2021 — 2 years ago
Wow. What a surprise! A delightful Pinot Noir ( one of my favorite single expression wines) from Patagonia Argentina. Who would have think it!? That said, it was light on the nose, eyes and tongue and went very well with a variety of foods from pesto and pasta, steak, and chicken . I’m happy I bought another bottle. — a month ago

Made with assistance of Jean-Marc Roulot. Picking up some nuance and intrigue since last bottle. — 10 months ago
This was one of the red wines I served for my annual WWC hosting, alongside a 2016 Pellegrin Gamay, 2017 Chacra CyC, and 2015 Force Majeure estate Syrah.
As all wines are tasted blind, I totally get the guesses of Cayuse-like Syrah. The 100% whole cluster use here is undeniably distinct. For the most part, it seems to be a love it or hate it style (I love it). By the time we all got to this, it had been in the glass 1-2hrs. Deep purple, with massive stemmy/green aromatics that hit you in the face. Wintergreen notes, too. On the palate, it’s funky, herbal, spice driven notes wrapped around underripe blackberries and rhubarb. This is a floral, savory, spicy Syrah at 8yrs that seems crazy youthful. Likely hangs in this window for a while. Bravo, Mike Smith. — 2 years ago
