Clearly showing it's 25 years of age on the palate, however, not the case on the relatively dark and vibrant color. Lighter bodied with tons of jalapeño pepper. Went well with the Caja China prepared lamb. Drink up. — 7 years ago
Young, but drinking so well with beautiful, pure, dark red cherry fruit. Nice tartness with that Morey earth in the background. No one in Burgundy captures such pure and delicious fruit flavors like Fourrier does. Can't wait to try the next bottle 5 years down the road. — 7 years ago
Really impressed with everything I've tried from this new Larry Stone project. While the Avni Chard I feel is a tad bit more Burgundian, this beautifully bright appellation pinot was bursting with red fruit and showed great depth for it's level. My only knock on it is that it reminded me more of a Russian River pinot than one from Eola Amity. — 7 years ago
From mag at the winery, drinking really well with tons of eucalyptus, bell pepper, leather and tobacco. Still pretty young yet has nicely developed secondary flavors. They have a few mags left of the Bella Oaks from different vintages and are being sold for a dance at the winery since they are no longer making this bottling. — 7 years ago
A real treat and so much life left at age 50! Yes, lots of dry prune but still very good acidity that will allow it to hold for probably another 10 years or so, if stored correctly. Aged Barolo is definitely one of the great wine drinking experiences. — 7 years ago
Chablisienne nose of crushed oyster shells and ocean air. The palate has electric fruit and piercing minerality. Brings to mind a Grand Cru Alsatian Riesling yet with fine bubbles. Lovely wine! — 7 years ago
Insanely good Napa cab from one of the oldest sections of To-Kalon. Hard to believe this was a 2014, it was so open with the wood and tannins already very well integrated. This is all about bright red fruits and supreme balance. The Macdonald brothers are really on to something with this project. Too bad they make such little to go around. — 7 years ago
This champagne never disappoints and the 2006 is simply gorgeous! As magnificent as the 2004 was, this may just have that vintage beat. A real stunner! — 7 years ago
Super under appreciated winery making gorgeous, distinct Pinot Noir from their monopole plot in Pommard. The dusty red fruit just wafts from the glass and the balance of the wine is undeniable. A killer pairing with the equally delicious pork belly! — 7 years ago

Bright and beautifully layered GSM with nice acidity. Only sold at the winery and for the 2 case per year Club to boot. Almost worth the plunge just for this offering alone. — 7 years ago
