North of my typical price point, this was quite expressive for a cab. Robust fruit flavor, yet smooth. Other bottles suit my palate better. — a month ago

Exceptional value in the 50 to 60 neighborhood for a Napa cab that drinks like wines twice the price, pure pleasure, no apologies. If this hits your palate just right we can explore similar powerhouses together. Reminds me of Austin Hope Paso Robles cab or the Frank Family Rutherford Reserve - which is a bit higher. — 6 days ago
Beautiful bottle. Classic cab w terroir — 2 months ago
Richly sweet flavor profile of berry and cherry, with hints of spice and smokiness. Heavy but to too much so. Very smooth finish. A high quality wine, and more enjoyable than other Cab Sauvs that I’ve tried. — 6 days ago
On the nose I get black currant, cedar, leather, anise. Elegant and lighter than you might expect from California Cab. A long, lingering finish with toothy tannins and noticeable oak. I’m drinking it on its own but it would be fantastic with meat or cheese. — 3 days ago
Smooth and rich Napa Cab, heavy notes of fruit and licorice on the initial taste, floral and spice on the nose, decent finish; not chewy like some Napa cabs. Paired well with spicy penne pasta. — 2 months ago

2018 vintage. Last tasted 12.5.25 (9.4), 1.31.25 (9.4) and 10.27.23 (9.4). Bigg stuff...which is something I never would have said about Spottswoode vintages back in the 80's and 90's. The new premium Coravin btg Napa Cab. 3.19.26. — 8 days ago
