Mediocre at best. Very disappointing Pinot especially at the price point and region reputation. Hopefully never drink it again. — 3 months ago
Disappointing. Having visited this winery and tasting several of their offerings, this one is a disappointment especially as compared to their lesser rated wines. No depth. The finish is thin and does not linger as it should for a Gran Selezione Chianti Classico. The nose is there as are the first few sips but as the wine sits in the glass, it seems to actually dissipate any further flavors. Oh well. I still like other Le Cinciole wines. — 4 months ago
This is an excellent Italian red blend that is drinking quite well even at such an early age. Great nose, full bodied with only a hint of tannins and pairs well with food or just to drink on its own. Good value. — 6 months ago
What a lovely wine! The nose is a bit deceiving of what is coming upon the first sip and it just keeps getting better! Extremely smooth and the full flavors seem to be delayed and then just swell at the back of the throat and on the tongue. This is Tuscan wine that is truly “super Tucsan”! No wonder it has a solid 93 points across the board! — 3 months ago
Yes! Oh, yes! I think I have a new favorite Cali favorite Merlot! The fruit just jumps out of the bottle upon corking and continues on the nose and into the mouth! Lucious, yummy fruit and even some mild tannins which prolong the taste long afterwards! This is great Merlot for just drinking or with food from steaks and grilled pork or mushrooms and grilled vegetables! Crusty bread and cheese of any sort! Delicious!! — 4 months ago
As could be expected of the ill informed bunch, this winery is not connected to our great POTUS other than his name. It’s owned by his middle son, Eric and wife Lara. And for a red wine from Virginia, it’s quite good. More tannins than I would have expected but just shows it does have some aging potential for those who like to wait. The nose is so subtle it hardly exists but the mouth feel is good and tells you right up front it’s a young red blend with a definite Meritage vibe. Decidedly better with food for sure. Satisfied my curiosity and I would probably buy it again. — 5 months ago
This is excellent Pinot Noir that is absolutely true to the grape and the region in which it is produced. For a lesser price Oregon Pinot, this absolutely competes with many of the more expensive and well known producers products. Classic Pinot Noir nose, body and flavors with predominant cherry raspberry coming through nicely and even the color is right. Definitely better than most anything from California. I would definitely recommend and buy again! — 3 months ago
Now this is Pinot Noir the way it was meant to be! Floral, more subtle and less in your face like Meomi or Belle Glos. The nose is shy upon opening but after a couple of decanter days, it’s really come alive! Excellent with pork or salmon and turkey, it’s great for sipping or pairing. The mouthfeel is excellent and the flavors linger long after your last sip. Never thought California Pinot could be so authentic tasting. — 4 months ago

Very good Montelpuciano especially with my veal scallopini and porcini mushrooms. Still young but very flavorful and fresh with cherry and red fruit flavors going on. Good Italian food wine at a reasonable price. — 3 months ago
