Summit Creek Zinfandel 2022

Delectable Wine
8.9

The 2022 Zinfandel Summit Creek opens with a zesty burst of crushed black cherries, minty herbs and candied citrus. This is juicy in character with ripe wild berry fruits and a wave of confectionary spice. It cleans up nicely, leaving a tinge of cocoa and the mouth watering for more. Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay 2019

I would chug bottles of this wine weekly if it were $25. Silly easy to drink. Alas, it’s $40 so they can eat a dick. — 6 months ago

Another TRB wine, let’s try on day 2. This is built to last, could have opened in 2033 with no problem l. — 3 months ago

Archery Summit Vineyard Pinot Noir 1999

Nice redfruit aromas and flavors, floral, still just a bit of tannic structure, medium-long finish, solid Oregon Pinot. — 9 months ago

Always good but this was different. Sweeter in the finish. Interesting and unexpected. — 2 months ago

Red Hills Estate Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2009

A classic example of how a wine evolves with an hour or so in the glass! Great acidity, dried fruit on the nose and velvety tannins. I loved this wine at release and am delighted how it evolved. Bright red fruit notes - but subdued. — 3 months ago
