The kind of wine you never won’t to end… just sensational. What a beautiful expression of Napa and the wine was drinking beautifully with 15 years of age. — 6 months ago
[Tasted on December 3, 2023 at Santo in Nashville and again on November 29, 2024 at Luogo in Nashville with Rachel]
Ripe cherry and plum fruit, with licorice, tobacco and earth. Muscular and well balanced. Wine is #4 on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2015. Excellent Brunello. — 3 years ago
The nose bursts with ripe yellow peach, mandarin, and dried pineapple, layered with brioche and a hint of white flowers. The palate is plush yet electric, with creamy texture quickly cut by vibrant lemon zest and a light salinity. The finish is precise and long. — 5 days ago

Solid showing but perhaps the bottle was a bit off. The wine had a puckering lingering element. It was still very good. Just not the balanced fruit focused effort I am used to. This vintage is great and other bottles have been better. Here is to the next one! — 3 years ago

Barolo ages so gracefully. 12 years and prime. Typically Barolo: tar, leather, dried roses. Long and rich. — 3 years ago

2010 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately. Lean and mean. Medium body but only because of the concentration. Dark fruits and plenty of espresso influence evident. Slightly less delicate than other P-C efforts fortunate enuff to taste. Tighter than the outstanding 2009 upon initial impressions. Needed more time to coddle this one but couldn't carve it out. 6.20.26. — 3 days ago
