Macerated cherry, cherry compote. Leather, tobacco. Strong tannic presence and a wildly long finish - total winner. Strong and elegant.

Big, bold, complex and just a pup....but shows all the signs of true greatness!

Another great one. We opened it up and decanted it for about 7 hours and still needed time. Obviously this is just a pup and we need to let it sit for many more years. Still enjoyable now of course.

Happy birthday to me. My favorite of the many bottles opened.

Fragrant sangio opulence, bruised fig and graphite but very very young. A sound, sexy baby bear that needs some hibernation time in the cave. Check back spring of 2020.

Clearly way too young of course but wanted to see what this is tasting like now. Gorgeous fruit but you can definitely pick up the Italian dirt. Wonderful wine.

Not single vineyard, their primary wine, on the nose is not as complex as the other one; medium plus tannin, medium acidity, finish is shorter than the first one but still amazing.
