2017 vintage. Was dead set against picking up any 2017 vintage Brunello, regardless of producer. That aged well. Oops. Clearly evident concentration, length, balance and ripeness. Better luck saying “over my dead body” and actually meaning it tomorrow. 3.7.23. — 2 years ago
Oops, forgot I had this in April. Drank alongside a '14 Roulot Bourg Blanc, and paired with a pasta with morel and scallion (light) cream sauce, with some seared scallops on top. This was far and away the better pairing, but it was fun to contrast the two '14s. With the cream sauce, the perceived acidity was perfect for my palate, so an excellent showing, really showcasing the minerality and citrus. Yeah it's Tuesday, but many pandemic-related restrictions were eased today here in cali. What that actually means remains to be seen... — 4 years ago
2008, oops. Either it’s good I accidentally opened this on my own or I’m mean. Needs manchego dang it, and all I’ve got is this hobo pizza a made. Not past it, funky in the right ways. And it may have been cheap.
I hour later after said pizza: Weirdly, it’s all chocolate cherry. — 2 years ago
Stunning. That’s that! Oops you need to let it breathe for an hour or more — 4 years ago
10 years of aging (oops lost in the cellar) has treated this 2011 surprisingly well it has lost the smoky notes I tasted a couple years ago and in its place is an earthier blackberry red currant which is quite pleasant. Still has a great silky mouth feel. I decanted this for 2 hrs, tasting every so often and I'm not 100% sure when it was drinking it's best.

Lovely black current and tea. Probably opened this one few years too soon. Oops! — 7 months ago
Oops, forgot I had this so recently. Oh well, very different from previous btls and not nearly so oak dominant. Definitely ripe with sweet apple and meyer lemon, but well-integrated lemon chiffon. On the palate: fantastic acidity, sweet citrus, soft mint, velvety mouthfeel, and a tarragon, sweet apple finish. Without a doubt my best btl so far, but still nothing like the 14, 16 or 18. — 4 years ago

Decanted about an hour in advance and enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2022 Cuvée Réservée pours a deep ruby color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of ripe and tart bramble fruits: blackberries, Marionberries, raspberries, “Oops All Berries!!”, garrigue, red and purple flowers, black pepper, licorice, a balance of cool and warm spices, river rock. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from nose; particularly the power and quality of fruit. The finish is long. Early days for the 2022 Cuvée Réservée but holy smokes is it already pretty special. The ABV is a scorching 16% but you would never know it. The power and freshness of fruit with the titanic structure keep everything in balance. Drink now through 2042. — 18 hours ago
