Textbook Bordeaux blend. Visually, there are mild signs of bricking. Nose has notes of leather, dust and cigar box.
On the palette, sandalwood and light cherries are pronounced. Finishes with balance and verve.
Yeah, that's the Ridge winemaker sucking up to me!

Wine #13: Nice Pauillac. Cassis, black currants, stewed plums with some anise. — 3 years ago
Much more going on on the nose and palate with the #13 Apples and meat on the nose along with the menthol. The alcohol was restrained on the nose and palate. The structure was there but less firm. Good length. Unfortunately the bottle had died a couple of hours later when tasted again. #trombettafamilywines #pinotnoir #sonomacoast #gapscrown #ctbucklinwine — 3 years ago
