Lovely balanced acidity, lemon, slate and flintiness. Slight stone fruit. Great body for its age. Loved this wine! — 2 months ago
This is a delicious red blend from Napa Valley.
Dry on the palate and very fruity with medium acidity.
Showing black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, figs, raisins, vanilla, cedar, licorice, light cola, coffee, earth, chocolates, mocha, peppercorn, herbs and Mediterranean spices.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 10 year old is drinking so very nicely now. Elegant and delectable. Fruit forward and engaging.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy and very complex.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes in the bottle. Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
A gorgeous wine at this point. Easy drinking and dangerously good.
Good by itself, and paired deliciously with the leg of lamb.
A blend of 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Petite Sirah, 24% Merlot, 18% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec.
15% alcohol by volume.
95 points.

Currently about 5 hours east of Melbourne in east Gippsland tasting this brilliant William Downie Pinot Noir. See several previous Delectable notes from earlier vintages. This wine manages to combine light to medium weight with medium plus intensity. Red fruited with Sous Bois. Downie is a gifted winemaker working in an excellent terroir for Pinot Noir. Would like to have more access to his wines up in Queensland. — 3 months ago

Very nice, simple and tasty, complex as it warms. Marley would have liked it very much, so it was perfect for sipping during Christmas Eve cooking — 3 months ago

Medium straw colour . Fine , constant perlage . Brioche , confit lemon and jasmine, ginger notes . Fills out well on the palate with those candied lemon , brioche notes , lots of backbone and intensity . Mineral fresh acidity . Still quite young , so probably even better in 5 years and will last a further 5-10 years — a month ago
