Pop and pour. A breathtaking medium ruby red color. On the nose: cloves, cinnamon, cherry, lemon rind, slight scorched earth. Taste: smooth, juicy, layered wine with tart cherry, earthy mushrooms, orange peel, spice, and a gravelly tea finish. YUM! West Slope my fav of the Donum lineup. — 3 years ago

Full bodied Pinot. Suggest decanting first — 7 years ago
For an entry level appellation west coast Pinot, this is right down the middle of the fairway. Ruby in the glass with cedar, birch wood, sweet cherry and cola on the nose. The palate is a bit darker bringing on sweet tobacco, black cherry and a rhubarb tart spice. I think this is $45’ish/bottle, so in terms of QPR, I’ll buy Rivers-Marie SC bottle all day over this, and while I’m not with AGalloni’s 93 rating, I’m not too far off. — 8 years ago

A good representation of Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, this bursts with a juicy core of ripe red cherry, wild strawberry, and a hint of pomegranate with distinct savory undertone of fried herbs and forest floor. Plush and approachable now, but should age well for the next 5-8 years. — 8 months ago
Plums and cherries give it a nice acidity. Pepper aroma and hint of chocolate. Pretty delish. — 5 years ago
Mild dark berries on the nose. Old world dusty berries in the middle with with a dark berry finish. — 6 years ago
Drank 3/5/19. Paired well with shrimp.
My go to every night chardonnay. Right now at around $11, an excellent buy. I enjoyed this vintage perhaps a touch less than others, but overall a great wine and an outstanding value.
Nose of light tropical fruits, a touch of citrus and butterscotch. Palate medium + body with pear, lemon curd, buttery notes, and a hint of oak. A nice balance for those who enjoy a bit of oak in their Chardonnay.

Solid Pinot. Way closer to Burgundy than a lot of the West Coast Pinots. Smooth and balanced. Very interesting undertones. Polished and elegant. James Suckling gave this wine 95 pts, a bit of grade inflation perhaps. Upped my rating 11/22/18 to 92 after revisiting this wine when pairing it with our Thanksgiving meal. Delicious! — 8 years ago
The 2019 Pinot Noir Campbell Ranch is fabulous. Complex and multi-dimensional, the 2019 is dynamic and super-expressive. Rose petal, lavender, spice, sage and mint play off a core of dark red/purplish berry fruit. This is a terrific Pinot from the northern part of the West Sonoma Coast. Aaron has produced a textbook Pinot with his Derbyshire Vineyard Pinot. It’s refined but not subtle. It’s fruit is in check. Paired with Mexican, pizza and pork chops. — 5 years ago
Very silky and smooth. Had at Renee and Alan’s. — 6 years ago

Stone IPA is a classic West Coast IPA from San Diego the Mecca of many great beers. This bold, hop forward IPA will never be mistaken for a more refined East Coaster. With its absolutely tantalizing hop bitterness, piney tones and vibrancy this is a big bold awesome IPA. If you like IPAs like I do add this to your list. Touring the many wonderful San Diego breweries is on my bucket list. @Bill Bender Bill this one is for you Cheers 🍻 — 8 years ago

Feels like it hasn't evolved much, just softened a bit. Earthy, viscous, lingering primary notes.
Fleshy cherry and cedar with soft tannins and minerals to think a little bit about. — 6 months ago
