Not quite in the same league with the 2006 Victory, but really nice. — 23 days ago
First bottle in a while. Nose is bit muted showing notes of plum and oak. Deep dark ruby colored. Ripe plum, with cassis and blue fruit briefly appearing mid palate, black licorice, pencil shavings, blueberry pie. Soft but grippy tannins. Holding together lovely and really growing into its age, with many years left. Lovely mouthfeel, enjoyable all around and easy drinking, showing once again why it’s a house favorite. — a month ago

Might be the best Syrah I’ve ever had. Lived up to its professional ratings. Would buy again! — 3 months ago

Leftover beef short ribs, mashed potatoes, asparagus, butter roasted radishes, and beet salad. Topped off with a 2006 Wellington Victory. I know it’s Tuesday, but why not treat ourselves? — 25 days ago
