So good. Freakish in the right way. Nose of herbs, keuper, minerals and more. A bit closed but it’s also a bit cold. Palate is just killing it. Juicy and clean with awesome texture and density. Sapid and almost tannic on the finish. So much going on. Insane inner mouth aromas. Really elegant. Unreal length. Just a rock star. Will be back once nose opens up. Unreal complexity and finish. Gorgeous. Nose is wide open now after around 10 minutes. Stunning. Lanolin, herbs and lemon lime. Expansive and so much depth. So good. — 2 months ago
Silvaner Maria im weingarten Richard ostreicher.
This NEEDS a and hour decant. Do NOT a drink sooner.
Nose: yellow flowers. White flowers. Lovely. Really a great nose.
Palate: lemon Zest. Hints of tropical fruit. Mineral. A bit confused. Let’s see where this goes.
As this opens its like elite unoaked condrieu. Silky minerals. Just a hint of tropicality it not so much as to make it annoying. Elegant. Wow.
A great contrast to weltner which is denser and more impactful. This is way on the elegant side of things. Wispy.
Very distinctive

This is the GG @Delectable Wine - Thanks! Powerful and rich. Salty. Opulent but ephemeral. — 2 years ago
Wow. What a wonderful wine. Nose is wild mint, herbal. sage, thyme and so many other things. Just stunning. So complex, so complete and concentrated. Sappy and pure. Fresh and invigorating. Long, minty and herbal. Superb structure. So long. Epic length. The vividness of the herbals on the finish is insane. @Delectable Wine this is the Schuerebe and is in the system but it’s not showing up for some reason. — 4 years ago
Chilled a little over cellar temperature, notes forthcoming...
Nose has insane qualities, not sure I've ever experienced a Riesling like this, beeswax, grapefruit pith, fresh cut white grapefruit, freshly cut spring hay and faint wet limestone.
Palate is restrained, yet screaming acidity, pulverized SweeTARTS, honey poured over citrus pith, limestone dust and faint white flowers.
Holy crap this is good!
