Brut Sekt Riesling

F ya. Really thrilling fruit. Kind of demolishes the fruit on any other sparkling riesling I’ve had. Apple, lime, citrus pith, kumquat, kiwi. All slathered thick with minerals. And nonetheless practically weightless. Very unique.

Nose is herbal and also mushroomy with startling purity and lime zest. Expansive minerality. Brilliant mousse and elegance. Lovely complexity and purity. So elegant and concentrated. Really wonderful Sekt.

A stunning bottle of German Sekt. So mineral and expressive. Floral. Herbal. Gorgeous unique nose. Super terroir focused nose. Palate is complex and deep with terrific acidity and freshness with a complex, long and very delineated finish. Brilliant.

Vintage 2016 / a bubble from #Franken with stunning quality. Made from #riesling. Smell with pears, flint and spicyness. Hint of lemon. Beautiful balanced taste with high acidity. Not easy. Acquired taste.

Wow. This is quite good.

Nose is lovely herbal. Lemon peel. Quite distinctive.

Palate is lovely sweet lemons. Mineral. Really delicious. Wow.

There seems to be a critical mass of German methode champenois that is quite good. Very clean.
