Considered white Burgundy or Etna Bianco.
Called Canary Islands. Salty and reductive.
Lots of acid. Should’ve considered Willamette as this reminds me of Morgen Long wines. Good vintage for most of the west coast. — a year ago
13.05% ABV Crisp acidity, apple, has some salinity, little bit of lemon. Yum! Great Scott!! — 3 years ago
A surprising touch of reduction and acid streak makes de-glazing the pan a delicious task. Durant Vineyard @Delectable — 4 years ago
Ohne Jahrgang, ohne Lage, ohne Rebsorte, vermutlich Tempranillo, aber schön trinkbar. 1/3 dekantiert weggetan für morgen. — 4 years ago
Had a virtual tasting with Seth Morgen Long. Some of the best Oregon Chardonnay I have had. Really beautiful, well made wines. He is the only producer in Oregon making Chardonnay exclusively. I can’t wait to taste these with some age.
The X-Omni was beautiful. — 5 years ago

Absolutely world class - bought this before he had 100 pointers and the price went through the roof. 13.27%. Creamy, marzipan, almond blossom, jasmine. Long and persistent on the palate - what a wine - “I wish you were here” to try it with me. Easily beats white Burghs. — a year ago
Nice reduction. Fruit kept in check by supporting acid. Still many years left in the tank. Need to get on this mailing list. Tasted blind. — 3 years ago

Wow, this continues to be one of my favorite Provence rosés, ripe strawberry, cold peach, watermelon rind, damp limestone, white pepper; with +3Y of age we're at peak enjoyment.
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this afternoon with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our conductor Andris Nelsons is leading Julia ADOLPHE (Makeshift Castle), STRAUSS songs with orchestra (Muttertändelei, Opus 43, No. 2 / Wiegenlied, Opus 41, No. 1 / Waldseligkeit, Opus 49. No. 1 / Ruhe, meine Seele, Opus 27, No. 1 / Zueignung, Opus 10, No. 1 / Morgen, Opus 27, No. 4) all voiced by our favorite soprano Renée Fleming, and closing with STRAVINSKY (Petrushka, 1947 version).

Quite tart and funky - but a really fun summer wine. — 6 years ago
— a year ago
Good not my favorite though. Nice medium sparkling Riesling. Not to try or sweet. Strong on the nose, slightly acidic — 2 years ago
12.27% ABV Peach color. Strawberry and orange. 95% X Omni Chardonnay + 5% Jessie James Vineyard Pinot Noir lees. Happy Rosé day!

+3Y in the cellar has really benefited this wine, generous strawberry, ripe apricot, orange zest tingle the senses, finally.

From magnum. 95% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Noir with lees. Sees barrel and steel with lees playing a big part along the way. So unique. Introspective. Faint blush in the glass but all about the texture. Salty and chalky. Long finish that is very faintly oxidative. These Morgen Long wines are really saying something. — 4 years ago
Blind tasting with two meursault and one Napa chard. I think this would benefit from decanting. My #2, great acidity. Went perfect with gnocchi in brown butter and sage sauce. Tasted more citrus I. The wine with that dish. The acidity continues but over time there is more lemon, more brioche and heading toward butterscotch. — 5 years ago

Beautiful. . . Tasted like a mix of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc with an amazingly deep taste profile. Hints of lemon, melon, butter, flint, and more. An excellent wine! — 7 months ago
