Excellent notes of green apple, cheerios, sweet lemon, red pepper, & nutmeg. would pair well with spicy seafood or any other light poultry — 5 days ago

Clos Ste. Hune Alsace Riesling 1983

WotY finalist. WTF nose of caraway, felt pads, molasses and oregano. Mouth is insane fresh with laser tag structure. More savory Crème brûlée than Riesling. — a month ago

Three previous bottles from different vintages have all been oxed. Never understood the hype. But now I do.

This particular bottle tasted somewhat evolved and sweetish. Crumbly cork, as well. — 8 days ago

Quilceda Creek

Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Not their best vintage, but still one of the better Cabernets that I’ve had (behind their better vintages). — 13 days ago

von der Fels Rheinhessen Riesling 2019

Lively and acidic but with potential for more. Decided we need to drink this more often. Dont quite have the massive structure of the GGs but still a fabulous wine! — 2 months ago

Educate me. I know Riesling on the same level as Mozart. Not much. But want to know more

@GaryWEdwards King of white wine for me. Germany is the place to start...Pfalz and Rheinhessen. Obviously dry and anything with GG on the bottle will be good. 2011, 2015 and 2018 habe been recent excellent vintages. K.P. Keller is the king of riesling...very expensive and hard to get but just unbeatable. After that its trial and error 🥂

Great counsel. I do know and have enjoyed the Keller. I love Pfalz region and will explore. May thanks.
