This 8-year-old Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking very nicely right out of the bottle, and even better after 90 minutes of airtime.
Rich and fruit forward. Elegant and complex. Spicy and entertaining.
Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

This 2018 rendition is a little lighter and crisper than prior vintages I’ve had. Nose is quite bright with red berry fruit and vaguely smoky crushed rock dust. In the mouth it’s medium bodied, has a very soft mouthfeel, and nice, buoyant acids. Ready to drink right now, it’s like a very friendly take on a Saint-Joseph. I prefer the deeper, earthier prior vintages I’ve had, but this is very nice in its own, understated way. — 11 days ago
