Composed. Great clarity. Quite dry with slate, lime, rocky minerality. Quite long and very good. — 20 days ago
Solid Crozes. Took some air to come around. Nose then shows crushed dark stone infused earth, sweet dark berry juice, spiced bison jerky. Mouthfilling and soft. Deep fruit at first, then goes to the more savory side. Fruit is sweet and a bit simple, and there’s a little lack of concentration. But it’s cheap, solid, and fun. — 6 days ago
I mean, who doesn’t love a Rhône valley wine?
Classically lovely barnyard wafts, yet more finesse, like a farm to table Michelin rated restaurant, amidst cows and grad and methane gas.
A weighty wine, with dark berry overall, a hint of Brett, yet not enough to kill all of the flavor, cherry tart, menthol, pomegranate seed, flexing tannins.
A fine ripple these eve. Although bested at darts, I nearly came though in dominoes. — 14 days ago
Beautiful decayed minerality. Warm corn tortillas. Really delicious — 8 days ago
First BBQ of the year...!! Woohoo...! 🥳😎🍗🥩🍖
This Cornas is less rustic/gamey than anticipated. Cassis and blackberry. Soft tannines. Black olives and pepper. Ink, iodine and toast, as well. Surprisingly open, clean and accessible.
Went great with those ribs. — 6 days ago
Delicious 2017 with aromas of hazelnut and white fruit, crisp acidity, a sense if richness but everything is harmonious and balanced, really good. 90-91
Excellent CDB 2017 encore une fois, fruits blancs, noisettes, acidité vive avec une certaine richesse de texture pour un ensemble savoureux et harmonieux. — 13 days ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon color with medium+ intensity aromas of floral, stone and citrus fruits with biscuit notes. On the palate this wine shows flavors of peach, ripe apple, lemon, apricot, melon with wet stone mineral. Vivid acidity with great mouthfeel on medium+ finish, aged well drink now! — 2 days ago
