Young Palomino from Tenerife. I know these wines are meant to be aged, but I enjoyed this 2018 bottle. It did not have the oxidation noted by many reviewers, but instead was a tropical-flavored wine with notes of pineapple and other fruits, that after being open for at least 30 minutes had a finish of vanilla and cream. Quite complex and enjoyable, but more of a Summer wine than one appropriate for dinner. Great for picnics. I’ll need to try an aged bottle some day to understand this wine. — 4 days ago
More like Cab Fab (franc)! Just lovely. Truly my ideal wine - so smooth, dry, not too Fruity, and a hint of spice. Very well balanced - would buy again and again. Worth $19 — 3 hours ago
Strawberry and stony nose
Some stone fruit, medium body, high salinity, softer tannins, tinges of grit on the finish.
Overall a very pleasant wine, and one worth getting into.
I have been loving exploring the wines of Mexico for some time now - this holds its own in the foray. — 12 days ago
Having tasted a good range of this wineries portfolio, this does the same, in that it does not disappoint
Nose of bright fruits, currants, lingenberry.
Medium bodied, with some saline, mint, perfectly delicious fruit/acid/tannin play.
Great mouthfeel, and lingering levels of salinity. Wow.

Nose : earthy.
Palate is bright cherry. Cherry cough syrup. Good acidity. Good grip.
Let’s see how this develops.
Much better with air. A little Ungiving on open. Gets much better. This rose lilac cherry flower perfume. Lovely. Very old school. Perfume gets very intense at times. Rose extract.
Palate is gently grippy. Very old school Nebbiolo. Cherries but like old dusty cherries If that makes sense. Lovely tannic grip. Juicy. Delicious.
3 hours in. Dusty rose. Lilacs on the nose
Palate is almost pure spice. A hint of bitter cherry pit. Delicious. Wow.
A very singular wine. Needs a 2 hour decant to show its best.

#Wine A jammy, acidic, bright, fruitful, with a mouthful of blackberries, and plums that are perfectly ripe. Gamay is my everyday go to light bodied wine. It’s like your favorite pearl earrings that you just can’t stop wearing ✨ Happy heart as I ventured out with this random buy. Mom approved too! (she’s not someone who drinks often - tis’ good to find wines that she enjoys, and I now know what to stock up on)✨
#Pairing I started off by having this wine with a variety of berries! Then moved on to a steak dinner with brussel sprouts. — 19 days ago
1+hr decant. Deep, dark purple color. Complex nose of dark fruit and spices. Absolutely massive wine! Requires small pours and sips. Concentrated dark fruit with slight hints of vanilla and tons of spices and herbs on the palate. Complex but varies between a velvet and spicy texture. Decent finish. Definite aging potential. I enjoyed it but the wife was so so. — 12 days ago
