Dry Creek Valley Barbera 2018

Probably the best red Mick Unti makes IMHO. This is a full-blooded vintage. Deep and hearty. Barbera with the gain turned all the way up. Lotta fuzz. In a good way. Dope Xmas gift from @Brendan Devine and the fact that I held out til March is no small accomplishment for a drunk like yours truly. — 7 hours ago

Segromigno Dry Creek Valley Sangiovese Montepulciano 2018

55% Montepulciano 45% Sangiovese. Don’t know what else to say other than this is a really powerful wine. Just grabs you by the ass and says, “you’re mine, baby.” — 2 months ago

Cuvée Foudre Dry Creek Valley Grenache Blend

This wine has beautiful balance with tart cherry, leather, tobacco and herbs. Soft integrated tannins give it some weight but don't overtake it. — 3 months ago

Dry Creek Valley Grenache Mourvedre Rosé 2019

Amazing rose done in the bandol style. I felt the nose is a little muted right now but the flavors otherwise are nice-dusty strawberry plus some rhubarb in there with a savory tinge along with a little bit of a melon freshness. Truthfully I’m not sure this rose should be drunk upon release I think this wine deserves a few years bottle age so they can/will mature into something amazing — 7 months ago

Dry Creek Valley Vermentino

Stone fruit w hint of grapefruit and pineapple. Fuller and richer than the 2018 but still has great acidity and depth. Wonderful w goat cheese. Dungeness crab season is just starting and can’t wait to pair this wine — 2 months ago

Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel 2017

Per usual I agree w @Ellen Clifford here. This wine has great layered flavor. It tastes a bit young w much potential but has the depth of flavor to it that makes you want more. I’d say in 2-3 years this will be a killer delicious sip! The addition of the barbera grapes is evident in the extra fruit in the mid palate. So good. — 2 months ago
