Serious bottle. Structured firm tannins, yet finesse is there all the way through. Classic Super Tuscan. — 16 hours ago

Call me old school I still love #supertuscan wines — a month ago
2019 vintage. Medium/medium-heavy body. Have found a vast majority of the exalted 2019 vintage Brunellos underwhelming. This one restored my faith. Ageworthy and slightly restrained while leaking/spitting out just enough dark fruit magic upon entry. Mid-level tannic confirmation at the clearly signed exit. Tastes likes a heady, 50/50 mix of dialed down, self-expectations paired with the parents, "sky's the limit," visions. Great now but try to avoid opening for another 3+ years if you can. 6.24.26. — a month ago
Incredibly lucky to even taste this, way outside of what I'm familiar with. First thing i noticed is how concentrated the nose is, extremely aromatic, red fruit with a creamy note and oak that is perfectly integrated. Normally I can smell when an ABV is this high but not with this wine. I can't believe how perfectly balanced it is - tannins, fruit, acidity, oak is all the perfect exact amounts so that nothing stands out on its own, but it has such concentrated flavor that everything stands out at the same time — 5 days ago
With Yuki Jeff at neighborhood place. Interesting Toscana blend of Sangiovese well balanced — 12 days ago
Vigna Nastagio. Although the wine was satisfactory, it did not meet my expectations. I had previously had a more enjoyable experience with other vintages. The dominant tannic notes were even noticeable in an 8-year-old wine. — 13 days ago
Excellent! Mild and delicious — 9 days ago
Another vintage, another very good Brunello, bold, full bodied with a ripe cherry, vanilla, leather and mushroom. — 21 days ago

first time dining at Chef Vola. 2020 is great but needs air to open up. even 2 hours wasn’t quite enough to show. felt a bit closed to me but still very enjoyable. — 12 days ago
