The Bear Red Wine 2022

2022. Vineyard: Fenaughty & Lightner
Varietal: Counoise, Cinsault, Mourvédre, Grenache, Terret Noir. Light body, but lots of flavor. No funk, minimal tannins and enough acidity to pair great with sausage pasta and bagna cauda garlic bread.

Very good but somehow not as great as I remembered. Maybe what we drank before tainted it. Maybe it went a little long in bottle. — 6 months ago

Dancing Bear Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2010

From magnum. Tasted perfect with so much fruit and balanced with some wood, spice, and good tannin. Felt like it was perfect and didn’t really change a ton over a few hours of air. Great celebration wine. — 7 months ago

Bear Crossing Knight Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Solid, well-made Cabernet Sauvignon. Strong and bold but not overwhelming. Deep, brooding fruit. Not remarkable but a reasonable purchase at $53. — 7 months ago

Monument Tree Vineyard Pinot Noir 2020

Very berry notes of strawberry, raspberry, and dark cherry. Stone minerality notes with licorice and a tartness. Smooth with a nice finish. — 6 months ago

Singing Tree Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2022

Light straw color. Aromas of peaches, freshly baked bread, white flowers and tropical fruits. Very pleasant tropical fruit medley on the palate as well along with hints of apple, lemon, brioche and spiced nuts. Interesting salty/mineral note on the finish. Bright and acid driven. Creamy mouthfeel and smooth texture but (according to the winemaker) it does not come from oak aging. (Lees contact). Great value! — 7 months ago
