Light enough to pair with a seafood pasta dish but creamy enough to pair with a heavier meat sauce dish, dry, strong tannins, cherry aroma and earthy finish. Still a bit young, could use a few more years (not as rich as the 2013 we had a few years ago). — 2 months ago
Impressive showing for this Monvigliero with cherry, strawberry, balsamic, savory spices, floral & tobacco notes — 5 months ago
Great with beef stew. Cuts through fatty foods really well and brings a lovely smoothness out of the wine. On its own, it can lean towards vinegary, but I liked it either way tbh — a month ago
Village tavern. Very good. — 2 months ago
This is showing beautifully right now, with a beguiling blend of orange peel, cassis, and anise aromas that carry over to the palate, where black cherries, balsamic notes, and a delicate mix of earthy autumnal spices provide a sensuous background. Soft mouthfeel with fine tannins that peek out a bit on the long finish, where the spiced citrus seems to last forever. Paired perfectly with pan-roasted wild mushrooms and dry-aged ribeye. — a month ago

Aromatic, spicy, aetheric
Dried cherries, a hint of wilted flowers, but fresh , juicy, a touch spicy
Beautifully poised on the palate, elegant, must be peaking right now.
Juicy, mellowed tannins, brilliant acidity. Lovely purity and great depth.
Drinking beautifully right now. — a month ago
