Luscious. Full-bodied with lots of pear, mango, pineapple, and vanilla. Silky smooth with a fabulous finish. — a month ago
A good wine but I was expecting more. Hopefully the next bottle will be more to my expectation. — 2 months ago
Classic Gruner from top producer. Radish, white pepper, tart apricot, great acidity. Great value too. — 11 days ago

Nov 2025: fruity and with noticeable oak (well integrated), nice nose, very good aged barbera, still has potential for cellaring a few years — 3 months ago
Excellent. I am slightly partial to Tor’s Torchiana, but this great. Meyer lemon, brioche, guava, apricot, vanilla, and almonds. — 22 days ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Montevertine's Pian del Ciampolo blend is 90% Sangiovese, rest with equal amounts of Canaiolo and Colorino, deep Ruby with purple hues, aromas of red fruits, floral, herbs and smoky oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and currants with dried herb notes, cacao and tobacco notes. Fine ripe sweet tannins, long finish ending with fruit and an earthy herb spice character. Nice! — 15 days ago
