2005 vintage. Orange peel, watercress, dill and some meatiness in the nose. Light-medium body. A dead ringer for a comparably-aged Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Fay or SLV cab. Def on the feminine side and a little tobacco and cinnamon on a lengthy finish. Top of its’ particular bell curve and has another 3-4 years at this station/junction. Lacks the stuffing to go farther but a very respectable showing nonetheless. Zero speed bumps and well integrated. — 4 years ago

A new favorite of ours. Cranberry and baking spice. Tastes like Thanksgiving. — 8 years ago
So tasty. My favorite wine I received from Winc. Light, tart, not too dry, not too sweet. Went down easy. Was good chilled just the slightest bit. — 9 years ago
Nose: bright cherry but more dense.
P: not as bright. A bit dusty.

Did not expect to use the descriptors energetic and fresh when describing a bottle of 34 year old champagne but that’s exactly how to describe this bottle. The acidity was a thunderbolt. Somehow this bottle managed to have that wonderful combination of freshness with the complexity that comes with age . A real eye opener. — 2 years ago
Lovely to pair with a dish that has ricotta, or blue cheese, as I did. It was lightly acidic, but a delicate sweetness takes over before you even notice the acidity. The last notes are a simultaneous experience of honey, melon and citrus. These notes last before gracefully dissipating, but are amplified when paired with the right dish! A 10 all-around for myself and the other individual experiencing this treat! — 4 years ago
Color of light egg white. A bit bubbly. Nose of ripe tropical fruits, like pineapple and mango, sweet Sprite, a bit nutty and a bit spice. Nose is quite decent. Taste also shows sweet citrus Sprite, a bit tinkling, green apple, roasted nuts, and a bit peppery. Aftertaste is medium long with savory notes from the taste, spicy sweet. Good flavors and above average. — 5 years ago
Met the vineyard owner Matt at another wine tasting at Left Coast. The crispness and grapefruit taste was so good on a wam day with a vegetable salad and pizza. Can't wait to visit the winery-in Junction City! — 8 years ago

Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Long spicy finish with fine grained tannins, herbs and cherries.
This 9-year-old Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles is drinking beautifully now. Spicy, rich and really shows itself right out of the bottle.
Feels Like an elegant Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
I had it 3 years ago, and this time it is drinking much better.
A great sipping wine, but good with food too.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in (50% new) French oak barrels for 24 months.
15.4% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Nose: Leather, black licorice turning to green pepper notes.
A bit hot, it relaxes a bit with a decant. Short finish, the taste doesn't offer the depth and complexity that is suggested through the nose.

Just love wines from the Etna region in Sicily, think junction between Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo, structured but medium weight on palate, long finish, it’s not a powerful wine, — 7 years ago

Paid €25 for a half bottle at L’Osteria di Giovanni. A nice Chianti Classico Reserva with a good full flavor. Would be nice to find in the United States at a reasonable price. I had a 2019 in January 2026. Just saw that this wine is available in the United States in the 750 ML bottle for $40 at wine Junction in Somerville. What a great price for a half bottle here in Italy at a restaurant. — 5 months ago
