Reddish in color with medium plus intensity.

Pretty nose of wild flowers, red cherries, currants, light wood, tobacco, chocolates and coffee.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, earth, tobacco, herbs, peppercorn, dark chocolates, coffee and light tar.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a tasty Barbaresco. Elegant and nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.

Still very young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Needed a few hours to open up, so be patient. Tannins show up after 2 hours of airtime, and bring structure to the wine.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years, and showing good potential to become a 93+ point wine.

This Single Vineyard Nebbiolo is very complex, engaging and a good food wine.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in French and Hungarian oak barrels for 24 months. A limited production of less than 8,000 bottles.

This is a remembrance of Sofia & my trip to Franciacorta & visit to Ca’ del Bosco in 2015.

If Italy has a kind of equivalent to Champagne, it would be Franciacorta. This is not Prosecco. It is made in the traditional method.

It is a beautiful part of Italy with both Lake Garda’s, one smaller (closer) & one much bigger and is a summer haven.

Excuse the fussy pics. I bought a new iPhone 7 just before we left & it had a defective camera.

The nose shows fruit blossoms, pineapple, green, apple, golden apple, white peach, tropical melons, vanilla, frothy cream, some caramel, soft volcanics, chalk & spring flowers setting in greens.

The palate has nice, soft, mousse. Ripe fruits; fruit blossoms, pineapple, green, apple, golden apple, lemon, lime, white peach, tropical melons & mango. Vanilla, frothy cream, some caramel, soft volcanics, sea spray, saline, chalk & spring flowers setting in greens, beautiful, acidity, well balanced, nicely structured & toned with an elegant finish that last a full minute and lands on volcanics. — a month ago

2019 vintage. Medium/medium-heavy body. Have found a vast majority of the exalted 2019 vintage Brunellos underwhelming. This one restored my faith. Ageworthy and slightly restrained while leaking/spitting out just enough dark fruit magic upon entry. Mid-level tannic confirmation at the clearly signed exit. Tastes likes a heady, 50/50 mix of dialed down, self-expectations paired with the parents, "sky's the limit," visions. Blend of Corvina (60%), Corvinone (20%), Rondinella(10%), Croatina (5%) and Oseleta (5%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of dried red and black fruit, diesel fumes, leather and a bit of vanilla. Flavors of intense black berry/cherry/plum fruit, tobacco and sweet baking spices. The vanilla note is present on the long and lingering persistent finish.
