An incredibly powerful, oxidative wine from Jura. The intensely nutty, salty, oily, honied flavors were magical with the “Pastured chicken, preserved lemon, garlic confit” dish which tasted braised and white-saucey.

The nose is typical with cherry, Raspberry, hay, Cola, even... This is quite welcoming. The palate shows some matter and a great acid drive. There are cherry notes dancing all along the acid drive, some width and some nice, a tiny bit thicker than usual mouthfeel. Some lively tannins kick in in the rear before a fruity finish with some salty, meaty touches in the end. This is a beautiful Julienas and I'm glad I have another bottle to leave on the side for a while. — 2 years ago

Snappy #fleurie - restrained red fruit, cranberry aromas. Tart crunchy cranberry, cherry, touch of spice and light tannins on the finish. Maybe not the most complex #crubeaujolais but satisfying nonetheless. — 18 days ago
