Dried berries, strawberry preserves, black pepper, espresso, bittersweet chocolate, and llicorella. Tastes of rose petal infused black tea, raspberry preserves, strawberry jam. — 6 months ago
Light golden color. Aromas of unripe stone fruit, dried flowers, wet slate and lemon zest. Flavors of peaches, nectarines, lemon and minerals. Long, mouth coating and tingling finish. The moderate amount of residual sugar is more than balanced by the bold and abundant acidity. Light bodied, crisp and refreshing. Wonderful precision and quality. Great pairing with our Christmas ham. — 6 months ago
One the nose: vanilla, nutmeg, black cherry and tobacco.
Taste: red fruits, oak finish.
Good with or without food — 4 years ago
Dry, good acidity which is a little unusual for a Riesling. Good weight, bright color, this wine is delicious! — 5 years ago
Wow, jam, dark stone fruit. Deep purple rim. A pleasure to drink as I grill — 6 years ago
Very drinkable. Will try again. Has nice minerality — 8 months ago
2019 vintage. Replaces the same vintage La Vilella Alta (Garnacha, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon) offering from this producer btg and is comprised of Garnacha and Carignan. Grip. Velveteen fruit. Initial sweetness ended with pleasant tartness. Will pair nicely with nearly any land-based animal protein and grilled veggies. 09.24.25. — 9 months ago
2018 Smooth, rich, lush. Great value and lingering full-mouth finish. Hint of jammy berries on the taste and just a great warm climate red from there. Would buy it again and again in a heartbeat. — 6 years ago
A fresh, light, Cabernet — 6 years ago
I love this wine. It was recommended to me. I’m not the best at describing wine, but it was very easy to drink the whole bottle in one sitting. — 6 months ago
Dark fruits and well balanced tannins highlight this excellent wine. More in the medium to full body Pinot noir‘s which I prefer — 4 years ago
Super fresh and precise on the nose. Packed with minerals- lime, slate, salinity. Quite a glycerin mouthfeel. Super fresh and compact. All the transparency of 2011 and Raveneau. Needs time in the glass to open up. Still a puppy, but spectacular and all in place. Benefitting from air. — 5 years ago

Mouth watering tannins, ripe rich fresh dark berries and hints of stone fruit. It’s fresh and grippy. A solid value — 10 days ago
