Domaine François Raveneau
Montée de Tonnerre Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay
Chablis, Burgundy, France
From mag. Beautiful stuff. Lime, slate, honeysuckle, pear. Fresh and bright with a light salinity. Great texture and mouthfeel. Delicious and long. This is all in place- the best mdt I’ve tasted. Lovely.

A composed and lovely nose with hints of soft pretty lemon, chalk and great poise. On the palate it’s subtle but expansive. Very detailed and supple. Underneath the restraint there’s a very powerful midpalate with fruit that will last And last. Great stuff.

Limpid delicate pure chard. Hints of lime, slate, oyster shells. Super pure through the midpalate. Still quite tight.
