Balvenie Doublewood 12yr - the nose is light with a hint of wood. On the palate you get a bit more power and a full mouth warmth. Finish gives you more of that wood and heat. It’s a good, easy drinker. Won’t go out of my way to get but wouldn’t feel bad if given a dram. — 23 days ago
Had at Lay line restaurant last week. W loved. With salmon. One of best Marlborough yet. — 2 months ago
Fantastic tempranillo with exactly what you want: easy-drinking and fruit-forward on the front with some tannic lingering at the finish. — 4 months ago
Smooth with earth and soft dark fruits. Not many tannins — 6 months ago
Medium ruby in color; cherries, tomato leaves, and woodsmoke on the nose;high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like red currants, black cherries, and balsamic with a long finish. — 2 months ago
Must love roasted veggies. But this has shed some of its oak and youthful reduction. In a good spot with another 5-10 years of interest. — 4 months ago
